This terracotta was recovered at Okang Mbang excavation site, Calabar in 1998. It features repetitive nsibidi-inspired motifs circling below its neck and body, carved in overlapping patterns found on traditional woven mats. The pattern's association with domestic life suggests the vessel may have served a household or symbolic home-related function. The elongated neck and pedestal base are plain, emphasizing the decorated midsection.
