This three-tiered round vessel, escavated at Ndidem Usang Iso Roadm, in Calabar, has straight and curvilinear nsibidi motifs, with each tier divied by incised bands on the base. The culvilinear design is often interpreted as snake, which evokes protection, transformation and ancestral power.
